Any team requires a team leader, the following quote shows some of the leadership characteristics , meaning that you need to give hope to your group, its not about what title you have or degree or grade. Its about that you hold the required skills to achieve the task. Its always looking at people as humans and respecting them, with time they will figure out how good you are once subjected to other stresses of life. That is why the more experience you have as an individual in working in groups the faster you become in recognizing leaders:

Firstly what causes conflict is the unclear job expectations from both sides, this happens either to personality clash or due to lack of understanding of one party deeply in a certain technical issue. The second point is based on wrong management of funds, making one task of the project to consume more of the required budget from other tasks.
