ANSYS CFX Double Domain Wind Turbines
Its one of the common cases of turbine simulations required these days.
Required Geometry for Tutorial Two Domains
The following steps summarize the process :
1- Make two domains , name them in a way that you can identify each.
2- Apply two coordinate frames, then specify each one for which domain.
3- Define the connectivity between the two surfaces.
4- Define Domain interface and chose Transitional periodicity, wasn't able to simulate Rotational perodicity.
5- Apply Domain rotation for the rotating domain mesh.
6- Run an unsteady case with time stepping.
