Using Previously Generated Data ANSYS-CFX
The wbpz file is the short cut file for a constructed saved file. Copying or saving it separately will not help in constructing or running the simulation. You can only run the simulation if you copy and paste all the simulation files which are usually one file which is the wbpz an another folder that contains all the necessary files..
Usually there are four folders. One for the geometry file DM folder, the second is the mesh file which is in the MECH folder. The third folder is called Post the CFX simulation construction file that defines the flow parameters and boundary conditions ((*.ccl )or (*.cst)). The fourth folder called CFX is the simulation output data folder it is usually in size is the biggest.

If you stop your calcualtion at some point due to some circumstances, you can again run the calcualtion but you need to get specfiy the path to start reading the input file with *.res, will need to specfiy for the user its location and in which folder.
Opening a Saved file
usually after you have finished working and saved your project, once you go to your save folder you will find to types of files one having the extention *.wbs and the other is a folder with the name of the saved project, this folder ould have to files.
