Book 1:The design of a heat exchanger will require you to find the optimum number of tubes. The best cost effective material to ensure the required load of heat is transferred during the process. Also ensuring the optimum pressure loss is to occur and can be estimated through the calculation process.

Book 2:The focus on the primary tools for the calculation process is important. As we know heat conduction and convection occurs. As an engineer you will be required to find the required values for both the heat conduction and heat convection coefficient for the studied materials.

Book 3:There are standard heat exchangers that can be allocated a specific space in an industrial complex such as factory power plant. While in certain cases this heat exchangers have to be designed for a specific allocated space. Usually these are used in space travel applications.
