MATLAB
The MATLAB codes written by me are available to use by researchers, to access the codes click on the right hand side logo. The main focus of these codes is on the fluid dynamics simulations. These codes cover some one dimensional studied case and then covering two dimensional cases.
MATLAB is good for educational purposes, its recently been more used in the high performance computing end. But it still has not gained the confidence of the scientific community for its high performance characteristics and that has been visible to me through filling the hundreds of job applications. COMSOL is emerging as a new contender for the CFD market but it will require several years to catch up. While OpenFOAM is always favored by all academic institutions for its low cost. |
