CFD Use around an Aircraft Airfoil
The following picture shows the vector field occurring around an aircraft airfoil during landing, it is essential to see how the vector fields speed up and where they decrease to sustain the regions of high pressure at the bottom half of the airfoil and the regions of low pressure over the wing profile.
The following picture shows the use of the airfoil, and simulating the conditions of pressure occurring around an aircraft wind profile.
This is an excellent picture showing airfoil extensions used to increases lift during landing, its purpose is visible and how they can contribute to manipulate flows in order to increase lift during critical flight regimes.

If the velocity component on the upper surface of the airfoil is the same as the lower surface this causes the elimination of the velocity vector causing no life to be generated.
