Heat Exchanger Tube Wear
Tube Erosion can be by the use of the Erosion Model or Finnee Model:

Flow Modelling in HVAC Systems
Studying ventilation fans: You need to specify what are the ranges of rotation the alternator is rotating in order to link it to different geometrical properties of the fan. For your case it seems your interested in increasing the mass flow rate of the fan in order to increase the convective heat transfer to cool the alternator. The question is how will you increase the flow rate, there are easy solutions and complex solutions. Easy solutions is through playing around with fan diameter, fan blade twist, number of used blades and then measuring the produced flow rates. Much harder solutions is through choosing an airfoil profile that hasn’t been used before and asking your self is it worth a trial and effort.
