"Mr. Ahmed is a CFD enthusiast, scholar and professional. He has got a supportive character and one can always count on his advices and knowledge as reliefs to the problems facing in their projects. When I started learning CFX the best practical materials I could find were the tutorials he has published and put on his own website for free. The cfd2012.com website by Mr. Ahmed, is a great online CFD repository that I almost have found the answers to my problems either fundamental or sophisticated. He has put many simulation cases of his own projects on the website as learning tutorials which are evidences testifying on his great skills and knowledge in the field. Mr. Ahmed truly would be an asset for any relevant organization/company and with considering his eagerness in the field, I think, he will be also a great motivator for other colleagues''

Eshan Singh
I have been in contact with Mr. Ahmad Al Makky for almost an year now. It was during my second year as Trainee Scientist in National laboratory of Indian Institute of Petroleum that a project required me to model combustion of CNG using ANSYS. As I surfed the web for any help on the topic, in which I was very inexperienced, I came across CFD website developed by Ahmad. I went to read about the various articles posted by him on so many helpful topics and problems of general interest. A man of multi talents, he is equally adept in solid design modeling as well as theoretical modeling of flow processes. I downloaded one of the tutorials available for Combustion modeling for CH4. It was quite coincident with the problem I had to work on and in this context; I contact Ahmad for some help. He is one of the most approachable people one can ever find, forever ready to help. That time, he provided me with the required design geometry to be imported for modeling the combustion process. It was then that a bond formed and I could talk to him any moment of the day and he would be there to help with his seminal inputs to each of the problems I came across.
His brilliance in the field is something to keep you motivated and aspire. He has worked on the most sought after projects so varying in areas, ranging from fluid flow along aerodynamic models to engine modeling. He has been a sage of solid mechanics modeling with equal adeptness as in CFX or Fluent modeling.
His grip on SolidWorks for geometry design is exceptional and this is a part where I have needed him the most, and to my surprise, he has been there each and every time he was needed. He believes in dissemination of knowledge beyond boundaries and is an altruist beyond words. His book “Coding tutorials for Computational Fluid Dynamics” is available for free in his very informative website cfd2012.com. The book provides a comprehensive guide to all the students interested in learning CFD in an easy to understand way while also providing them guidance towards their aspirations for Doctoral position, something one doesn’t find generally, and something Ahmed is willing to help in, anytime.
